About Nickadizzy and this blog

Nickadizzy began as my online vintage and antique shop, currently operated on etsy at etsy.com/shop/Nickadizzy. In running a shop, I do a substantial amount of research and often come across great bits of information, and items, that I can't  use for the shop, but that are still of value to those interested in antiques and vintage items.

Hence, Nickadizzy the blog was born.

Part research assistant, part junk drawer, this blog will offer up items of interest from all eras with the goal of providing a fun browsing experience full of cool graphics, odd bits of trivia,  and great fodder for social media sharing! Round out the end of the week every Food Friday when I will post illustrations, cover art, recipes and more from vintage cookbooks.
